Incidence of tuberculosis among fowls kept under intensive conditions in North and South Baden

Incidence of tuberculosis among fowls kept under intensive conditions in North and South Baden

Berliner und Münchener Tierärztliche Wochenschrift 81: 321-323

The 1965-67 incidence of avian TB found P.M. in Baden was considerably lower than during the period 1949-55. Tests carried out on 2, 000 live birds from intensive flocks detected 27 (1.35%) reactors by rapid blood agglutination, and 34 (1.7%) by serum plate agglutination; 19 (0.95%) of the birds were culturally positive.
