Income distribution on selected types of Illinois farms and implications for tenure adjustments

Income distribution on selected types of Illinois farms and implications for tenure adjustments

Diss. Abstr. Ann Arbor, Mich, 26: 12 (pt. 1), 7085-6. Price: Microfilm $3.00,

This research was directed to the problem of whether the traditional owner-operator tenure system is effective as a means of associating costs and returns of agricultural resources. The hypothesis was made that the dominant forces that influence agriculture (farmer's goals and values, resource fixity, economic features and technological advance) encouraged farmers to capitalize part of their labour and management earnings into land value.
