On 1 Jan. 1966, 59, 340 cows of the breed were being milk-recorded (99.3% of all cows of the breed). From 1951 to 1963, milk yield increased from 3078 to 3502 kg, fat production from 108 to 128 kg, and fat percentage from 3.49 to 3.64.
