Abstract
Combined seed treatment with gamma rays and ethyl methanesulphonate reduced the seedling height and seed fertility and increased the frequencies of M1 chlorophyll chimaeras and M2 mutations compared with untreated plants. The chlorophyll-mutation frequency was positively correlated with the frequency of viable mutations.
