Increased sporogenesis of Glomerella cingulata by culturing on seeds and seedlings

Increased sporogenesis of Glomerella cingulata by culturing on seeds and seedlings

Proc. Ass. off. Seed Analysts N. Am, 59: 82-90

Conidia were more abundant on autoclaved or surface sterilized seeds or seedlings of 45 cucurbitaceous, gramineous and leguminous plants than on standard agar media. Conidial production was also increased by the addition of extracts from seeds and seedlings to Czapek, PDA and Sabouraud media.
