Indirect haemagglutination test for the diagnosis of contagious bovine pleuropneumonia

Acta vet. zootech. sin, 7: 253-262

Sheep r.b.c. were sensitized by exposure to broth cultures of Mycoplasma mycoides of bovine origin and to the pleural exudates of infected rabbits for 120 min. at 38 degrees C. and a pH of 6-9, the proportions of antigen to r.b.c. (a 2.5% suspension) being 1.5: 10.
