Influences of environmental factors on lodging of wheat and barley plants. 2. Wind treatment by mobile wind tunnel and measurements of wind over fields

The contributions of various plant organs to the drag force exerted on the plant by the wind differed for wheat and barley and were, respec- tively, 30 and 20% for leaves, 10 and 50% for ears, 60 and 30% for culms.
