acaule '30d', resistant to the virus, gave roughly 3 resistant: 1 susceptible forms on selfing, the resistant individuals being of the hypersensitive type controlled by the gene Rxn; selfing four of them gave two S2 progenies that bred true and two that segregated in the ratio 3: 1.
