Abstract
Investigations on 6 of winter wheat and 1 of spring wheat indicated that the optimum short-day treatment depended on the cold requirement of the varieties; those needing a relatively long cold period (cv. Tenor, Rubigus, Cleo, Fanal) needed prolonged exposure to short days.
