Ethanol extracts of 9 strs. of Fusarium moniliforme isolated from fodders, 2 strs. of F. oxysporum from beet pulp and a str. of G. zeae were added to food given to 19-20-day-ojd white female mice for 3 days. Autopsy after killing showed that 1 str. of G. fujikuroi had caused hypertrophy of the uterus, with an activity c. 1/30 that of G. zeae.
