Methods of determining the aerial mass of coppice growth on clear fellings in Oak stands in the forest-steppe

Methods of determining the aerial mass of coppice growth on clear fellings in Oak stands in the forest-steppe

Lesoved., Moskva. 6, 43-51

A discussion of methods and procedures, illustrated with the results of studies made in 1957-61 in the Tellerman Experimental Forest, based on principles similar to those used in work already reported. Data are tabulated on the dry-matter production of coppice shoots of Quercus robur, Fraxinus excelsior, Acer platanoides, A. campestre, Ulmus sp., Tilia sp., Corylus sp., and Euonymus verrucosus, growing on clear fellings in Oak stands.
