In diecious hemp the pollen grains usually had three pores, whereas in monecious hemp the number of pores was usually three to four, but varied within wide limits. Over a three-year period the size of pollen grains in monecious hemp varied from 25.7 to 28.1 mu , and in diecious hemp from 29.0 to 33.3 mu.
