Mosesia pavlovskii n.sp. was found in the intestine of one of 17 Phylloscopus trochilus, 2 of 11 Sylvia atricapilla, one of 3 Hippolais icterina, one of 46 Dendrocopos major and one of 47 Larus ridibundus in the Kaliningrad region of USSR. The lobed ovary distinguishes M. pavlovskii from all species of the genus except M. mosesi. The shape of the testes and structure and length of the bursa (0.24 to 0.45 mm.) separates M. pavlovskii from M. mosesi. A key to the species of Mosesia is given.
