Wheat. New cultivars referred to as particularly promising include the winter wheat Kuncevskaja 45, produced from Lutescens 17 by selective fertilization after mixed pollination with a number of lines of different provenance; it is resistant to cold, drought, smuts and lodging, ripens early, gives high yields of large grain of high quality and has a wide range of adaptability.
