Nutrition of roses propagated by cuttings

Tidsskrift for Planteavl 75(3): 293-300

Roses cy. Buisman's Triumph raised from cuttings were grown in pots (in 75 % and and 25% perlite) in a factorial NKMg experiment. By comparing shoot length and number, number of buds and internodes, bud burst and winter injury and the leaf contents of minerals the optimal levels in dry matter were calculated as: 3.9-4.6% N, 0.55-0.65% P, 1.85-2.60% K, 0.50-0.80% Ca, 0.35-0.45% Mg, 125-165 p.p.m. Mn and 20-25 p.p.m.
