Nutritional status of people in isolated areas of Puerto Rico. Survey of Barrio Naranjo, Moca, Puerto Rico



American Journal of Clinical Nutrition 19(4): 269-284



Clinical examinations were made of 542 people in an isolated area of Puerto Rico and blood and urine samples were collected from most of them for biochemical analysis. A diet survey was made by estimating the 24-h weighed intake of 121 individuals in 20 families.
