Outbreak of trichinelliasis in a district of the Smolensk region

An outbreak of trichinelliasis in the Smolensk region, not known for the last 8 years, is described. 29 people were infected. Of these, 5 serious and 24 light cases of infection were found. The incubation period for the disease lasted for about 11-35 days.
