Abstract
The content of soluble forms of oxalic acid was determined in leaves of Atriplex hortensis, Beta vulgaris subsp. cicla varieties Large Ribbed Dark Green and Rhubarb Mangold, Chenopodium bonus-henricus, Portulaca oleracea, Rheum undulatum, Rumex acetosa, R. patientia, Spinacia oleracea and Tetragonia expansa. In general, the leaf blade contained more oxalic acid than did the petiole.
