Analyses are presented for supplies arriving in Britain during the 2 1/2 years up to June, 1969. In the 3 shipments of almonds the BHC content was in the 0.01 -0.10 p.p.m. range and DDT amounted to < 0.05 p.p.m. In 8 of the 10 samples of walnuts BHC was also in the 0.01-0.10 p.p.m. range and there was <0.05 p.p.m. DDT; in the other two shipments there was <0.01 p.p.m. BHC and 0.05-1.0 p.p.m. DDT. -Minist.
