The occurrence of myiasis caused by Callitroga (Cochliomyia) hominivorax (Coquerel) in wounds resulting from dehorning in seven water buffalo (Bubalus bubalis)of a herd of more than 100 in the State of Sao Paulo, Brazil, is recorded. Eggs and larvae of all instars were found, and adults of both sexes were reared from third-instar larvae.
