In the laboratory in India, 16 insecticides were compared in 1965-66 for their relative toxicity to adults of Trichospilus pupivora Ferriere, one of the most effective parasites of Nephantis serinopa Meyr. on coconut, with a view to integrated control of this pest. Adults of the parasite were exposed to residual films of the products in petri dishes and LT50's were noted, DDT being taken as the standard.
