Three-layered plowing to 45-50 cm together with application of fertilizers at the beginning of a 9-course rotation in 1954 increased the total number of feed units produced per hectare compared with ordinary plowing to 25 cm plus fertilizers. Mold-boardless plowing was slightly less effective than 3-layered plowing.
