Seasonal variations in the contents of readily soluble phosphorus, potassium and magnesium in soil

Seasonal variations in the contents of readily soluble phosphorus, potassium and magnesium in soil

Forsk. Fors. Landbr, 17: 165

There was a pronounced trend for readily soluble P and K to increase after fertilizing, and to decrease from summer to autumn. Mostly K decreased from autumn to spring especially in sandy soils and in soils high in readily soluble K; readily soluble P generally showed a small increase, especially in soils high in this nutrient. Readily soluble Mg increased much faster after application of kieserite than after that of dolomite.
