Soil persistence of repeated annual applications of atrazine

Soil persistence of repeated annual applications of atrazine

Weed Science 19(3): 290-3

ISSN/ISBN: 0043-1745

DOI: 10.2307/4041763

Dissipation of atrazine from irrigated maize or fallow plots following single or consecutive annual applications of atrazine at 2, 4 and 8 pounds per acre was studied at 3 locations during 1963-68. Atrazine dissipated faster in a silty clay loam soil at Lincoln (E. Nebraska) than in loam soils at Alliance and North Platte.
