Some cultural studies on Rhizoctonia solani the causal organism of sheath blight of Paddy

Jnl Res., Ludhiana, Punjab agric. Univ., Hissar. 4(3): 401-405

Three isolates of R. solani from rice were studied. Of 7 media used Richards' was the best for growth, which was max. at 30 degrees C and pH 6. Urea and asparagine were the best N sources; all isolates failed to grow on thiourea and NaNO2.
