Abstract
Data recorded on 485 calves from 90 dams in 1933-1962 and corrected for sex, age of dam and period of calving, were used. Repeatability, based on maternal-sib and full-sib correlations resp., was 0.10 and 0.24 for birth weight, 0.30 and 0.43 for weaning weight, and 0.25 and 0.39 for preweaning weight gain.
