In 2 experiments with chickens from 4 to 10 weeks of age sources of P were the same as in the previous part except that reagent grade phosphoric acid replaced defatted rice bran. The diets were based on maize and soya bean meal, with 3% fish-meal as the only animal protein and had 0.48% P, made up to 0.7% by the different sources of P as in the first experiment. In the second experiment total P in the experimental diets was 0.6%.
