Abstract
At the State Farm Buratin in the Kalmyk Republic, 750 fine-x coarse-wooled were mated with North Caucasus Mutton Wool and a further 830 with Soviet Merino. Body weights at birth, weaning and at 8 mths. were greater in the former cross; wethers slaughtered at 8 mths. had a higher dressing percentage.
