As a result of trials of the lower limit of toxicity and of various concentrations of DTHP, a concentration of 0.25% active principle (previously 1%) is recommended for treeless areas or those in which transplants have been treated by contact insecticides, and one of 0.5% for forest land where it has not been possible to treat the plants by dipping or spraying.
