The effect of interrelations between different conditions of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium nutrition on yield and on changes in the chemical composition of the plants

The effect of interrelations between different conditions of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium nutrition on yield and on changes in the chemical composition of the plants

Izv. Akad. Nauk SSSR, Ser. biol, 3, 410-23

In sand culture experiments the effects were studied of 4 rates each of N, P and K in various combinations on the yield and composition of tomato plants. A severe deficiency of any of the 3 nutrients, despite adequate or increased supplies of the other 2 nutrients, resulted in plants with retarded growth and underdeveloped vegetative organs.
