Four tests were carried out in Florida to determine the comparative value of three methods of assessing the effectiveness of sprays of insecticide when applied from an aeroplane for the control of adult mosquitos. In each, naled was applied between 6.10 and 7.45 a.m. at 0.1 Ib/acre from an aeroplane flying at 80 mile/h at an altitude of 75-100 ft.
