In the tests described, larvae of Musca domestica L. were reared in three nutritive media in which preparations of Bacillus thuringiensis var. thuringiensis had been incorporated, one rich in spores and crystals, the second rich in soluble matter and poor in spores and crystals, and the third free from spores and crystals and previously autoclaved at 120 degrees C. for 15 minutes.
