The hybrids Savoy cabbage x fodder kale and Brussels sprouts x fodder kale

When compared with the parent varieties Vertus (savoy), Fest and Viel (Brussels sprout) and Olecka (fodder kale) and with the other fodder-kale varieties Krasa and Chorynska Niebieska, the hybrids were best in leaf weight per plant and in oil content of the whole plant and the Brussels sprout x fodder kale hybrid in particular had the highest dry-matter content, whole plant weight, protein content, starch content and total nutrient value, while the other hybrid had the lowest fibre content.
