Ewes of class 1 were inseminated with the semen of 3 rams having high fleece weight and 2 rams of av. fleece weight. Data are tabulated on fleece weight of the progeny. North Caucasus Mutton-Wool rams with wool of 48s and 56s quality were used to inseminate fine-wooled ewes with wool of 60s or 64s quality.
