Abstract
In preliminary experiments, tubers of potato Russett Burbank and Red McClure transferred to the glasshouse after harvest from plots treated with 0.03 or 0.06 lb picloram/ac produced plants showing phytotoxic symptoms, which were more pronounced in the former than in the latter In a 2nd experiment Blanca planted in soil containing vines from picloramaffected Russett Burbank plants, showed mild growth responses consistent with the effects of picloram.
