The social structure among farmers and negative phenomena in their attitude towards work at unified agricultural co-operatives

The social structure among farmers and negative phenomena in their attitude towards work at unified agricultural co-operatives

Sociol. Hist. Zemed, Praha 3(2): 113-24

Co-operative farmers' attitudes towards types of work are examined. Mechanization, technical training, etc. have led to vertical differentiation in the division of work, and in unified agricultural co-operatives the administrative work has become separated from physical work. It is shown that the social structure of well developed unified agricultural co-operatives depends on the type of work done rather than on the material incentive, the amount of remuneration and the living standard.
