Abstract
In field trials in the Southern States of the USA, picloram at 0.4, 0.7, 1.1 and 1.4 lb/100 gal was applied as a leaf-stem spray in early May to various types of brush. 2, 4, 5-T at 4 lb/100 gal as a foliar spray was applied as a standard treatment. At all locations picloram was superior to 2, 4, 5-T, except against ash (Fraxinus sp.).
