Bark of Eucalyptus saligna trees (20-80 ft. high) injected with Tordon (picloram, 17.3% acid equivalent) showed considerable splitting, the foliage was distorted, and mortality was 60%, whereas trees treated with 2, 4, 5-T butyl ester (80% a.e.) showed slight bark splitting and foliage distortion and no mortality.
