Among a herd of 400 goats of the Galla breed in the Republic of Somalia 12 had ringworm due to Trichophyton verrucoswn. In certain animals the lesions were very extensive and general health appeared to be affected. One sheep among 200 other Somali Blackhead sheep living with the goats had a chronic lesion on the head.
