Amylase and protease inhibition activity against Fusarium verticillioides in corn germination

Amylase and protease inhibition activity against Fusarium verticillioides in corn germination

Semina: Ciencias Agrarias Londrina 27(2): 231-242

The primary maize pathogen, Fusarium verticillioides (gibberella moniliforme) is responsible for fumonisin production, which is harmful to human and animal health. In addition, maize can be more susceptible to fungal infection after insect attack.
