Bacillus spp. isolated from the intestine of black tiger shrimp Penaeus monodon from the Gulf of Thailand in Chonburi province area from October 2005 to September 2006 were tested for their antagonistic activities against pathogenic bacteria in aquaculture. The cross streak method result showed that Bacillus W803 and Bacillus W120 can inhibit Aeromonas hydrophila AQAH after 24 hours. Antibacterial substances from Bacillus spp. were produced at the highest level in 48 hours.
