Comparison of some potato varieties reaction to late blight during the seasons of different pathogen infection pressure

In 2003-05, the assessment of late blight (Phytophthora infestans) incidence was conducted in field trials in Bonin during growing seasons with different pathogen pressure as a part of Baltic countries network. Observations were made on 25 potato cultivars compared to standards in the same group of maturity. Varying meteorological conditions during growing seasons influenced reaction of tested genotypes, although not always according to their score of resistance.
