Current status and perspective of methyl bromide alternatives in tobacco transplant production in China

Current status and perspective of methyl bromide alternatives in tobacco transplant production in China

Acta Tobacaria Sinica 12(5): 52-55

Methyl bromide is an effective soil fumigant extensively used to control broad-spectrum of pests in tobacco transplant production. However, methyl bromide was restricted to use as Class I ozone depleting substance. The advances and current status of research are summarized on methyl bromide alternatives in tobacco transplant production in China.
