Fifteen Wistar rats were divided into 5 groups of 3 and were fed for 2 weeks with the following experimental diets: control group - standard diet (LSM); SOY diet, diet supplemented with 15 mg/day of dietary lectin extracts for the first week and 5 mg/day freeze-dried soyabean extract for the second week; evening primrose (EPM), 15 and 5 mg/day extracts of primrose meal (cake); EPS, 15 and 5 mg/day extracts of full-oil primrose seeds; and PEA, 10 mg/day pea extract on the first week only.
