A study on the effect of different sources of nitrogen and their levels on the vegetative and floral behaviour of African marigold (Tagetes erecta) Pusa Narangi Gainda was undertaken to find out the effective sources and levels of nitrogen for growth and flower production of marigold. Treatments comprised: three levels each of calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN) and urea (150, 200 and 250 kg/h). CAN at 250 kg/ha exhibited better results compared to the other treatments.
