An experiment was conducted in Botucatu, Sao Paulo, Brazil, from 21 May to 9 August 2002 to evaluate the agrometeorological elements on Tagetes sp. under greenhouse and field conditions. The experimental area consisted of two 280 m2 areas, one under field conditions and the other under an arch-like greenhouse, covered with a 150 micro m-thick low density polyethylene (LDPE), light diffuser, 50% of solar radiation reduction and polypropylene screen on the lateral sides.
