Further studies on the reconstitution of TMV and an incomplete nucleoprotein complex

The formation of the 20 S disks from TMV 4 S protein proceeds very rapidly at 24° taking no more than 30 min. Literature data were confirmed showing that 20 S disk-like aggregates can reconstitute virions very effectively with TMV RNA.
