The rate of incidence of Fasciola gigantica infection in goats in Vaishali district of Bihar was studied throughout the year and season wise. The over all incidence 55.55 percent of cases examined of slaughter houses in the area Season wise, the highest incidence of F. gigantica in goats was recorded during winter season (64.84%). Control strategy was formulated on the life cycle pattern of F. gigantica.
