In an experiment, 13 Japanese non-glutinous rice varieties with known resistant gene to M. grisea were selected as materials. The seedlings of these varieties were inoculated with strains of M. grisea at 4-leaf stage at 25 degrees C and cultured in culture chamber. Then the seedlings were treated with tricyclazole and carbendazim at 0.2 and 2 micro g/ml.
