Oxygenic photosynthesis

, : Oxygenic photosynthesis.

The activities, structure and molecular biology of the components of the photosynthetic apparatus in chloroplast thylakoid membranes are described. Following an introductory chapter on electron transfer and energy transduction in photosynthesis, chapters are presented in sections on the structure of thylakoid membranes, synthesis and assembly of thylakoid membranes, oxygen evolution, PSI, PSII, components of intersystem electron transfer, the coupling factor, light-harvesting complexes, the chloroplast genome, and the nuclear genome.
